Hungary not to support sanctions against Gazprom, Gazprombank

BUDAPEST, Jul 13 (PRIME) -- Hungary will not discuss Russia’s gas embargo and will not support sanctions against Gazprom or Gazprombank, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto told reporters on Wednesday.

“Regarding adoption of possible new sanctions, Hungary's position is clear: we are not ready even to discuss the gas embargo,” he said.

“One E.U. country proposed to put Gazprombank on a possible sanctions list. We have firmly stated that we will not support any sanctions against Gazprom or Gazprombank.”
